About Don Air Heating & Cooling
Family-owned air conditioning and heating, based in Plant City, Florida.
Run by Jose, Backed by Family
Don Air Heating & Cooling is a family-owned company led by owner Jose Luis Aguilar — customers simply know him as Jose. From its home base in Plant City, Don Air serves homes across Hillsborough County and Polk County, within a 40-mile radius.
The company handles the full range of residential comfort work: AC repair, new system installation and replacement, heating service, maintenance and cleaning, and air conditioning for mobile and manufactured homes — a specialty many larger outfits won’t touch.
What customers remember most is the honesty. When one homeowner was quoted $2,800 by a large competitor for parts and repairs, Jose took a look himself, found the real problem — a dirty evaporator coil — cleaned it, topped up the refrigerant, and had the system running again for $290, in under an hour. That’s the standard Don Air works to on every call: find the actual problem, fix what needs fixing, and charge fairly for it.
Estimates on new systems are free, and service is available in English and Spanish — también hablamos español.
